My family and I eat breakfast here every morning before we drop my dad off at the airport. Around 6:10, the early morning breakfast crowd starts to roll in. The Viking has an bunch of different jams, yummy orange juice, and know how to cook an egg, so in my mind they are a pretty good breakfast place. They have this dish called the breakfast scramble, (or something like that), which is a bowl of fried potatoes, bacon, onions, and other stuff topped with cheese and it is deliiiish. I also recommend the strawberry French toast for your sweeter tastes. Yes, the decor is a bit dry and dull and weird but interesting to look at and not exactly a total eyesore. Also, it's relatively clean. Dinner here is not the best; come by at breakfast!

Went there after 2015 Scandinavian days. Bartender was trollish, blonde and rude. Classic Viking. Never going back unless I take up meth addiction. #UnLike

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. We were the only ones there but I had a good omelette and my wife got the BLT. Tasty thick bacon and crispy fries. Friendly and fast. Just what the doctor ordered.

My family and I decided to give the Friday night Prime Rib a try, Service was fast and friendly. I ordered a large beer and it had to be the tiniest large beer I have ever seen lol I wonder what the small one would have looked like! Place definitely could use a makeover. I have heard good things about the breakfast here so maybe we will give that a try sometime.

We've eaten here once, and that was enough. Slow service, depressingly dated atmosphere, mediocre food. Eh. Wish we had more good restaurants in JC.

Not bad for breakfast. I've had dinner there about 4 times and I can't recommend it for that.

I don't know about the bar, but I have eaten there several times at the restaurant. It is pretty much the only restaurant in town that is not fast food. I mainly eat breakfast there. Neat atmosphere, viking stuff and paintings on the walls. It seems a bit run-down, but not a dive either. I enjoy taking my daughter there.
